“The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man who sowed good seed in his field. While everyone was asleep his enemy came and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off. When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. The slaves of the household came to him and said, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in you’re field? Where have the weeds come from? He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’ His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. Let them grow together until the harvest; then at harvest time, I will say to the harvesters, ‘First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn.’” (Mt. 13:24-30)
Father, Satan tries to corrupt the faithful by planting men among us who will carry out his evil plan. These men exist even in You’re holy priesthood; this I have witnessed with my own eyes. I am so thankful to You, You who has given me the grace to recognize the false teachers. I trust that you will give them the punishment they undoubtedly deserve at the end of time. But God! How many will you let them lead astray?
Lord You have given us shepherds to guide us in our faithfulness. How will you show You’re people which one is a true shepherd, and which one is a wolf in a shepherd’s guise? Ah, Lord, who am I to question You? You are the all-knowing God and I but a poor sinner made righteous by You’re grace. If this be You’re will, then so it shall be.

This Book, which I read, it can be nothing less than You’re inspired word written down for all the ages. “Thus the Lord passed before him and cried out, ‘The Lord, the Lord, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity, continuing His kindness for a thousand generations, and forgiving wickedness, and crime and sin…”(Ex. 34:6-7
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”(John 3:16-17)
This message could not have come at a better time. I went to confession and knew that my sins were forgiven, but I still felt so horrible for all of the things that I have done to You. But then, You assured me through You’re Holy Scriptures that you have indeed washed me clean from all that I regret. You aren’t there to hold my past against me. You are here to free me from my past. I sinned, I repented. You forgave me and forgot that any of it ever happened. Now I too can forget. Thank-you.

How I have fallen so far I do not know. More amazing still is how You bring me back again. Every time I fall, You pick me up. Every time I turn my back on You, You open You’re arms towards me. I am a sinner. Without You, where would I be? I have been restored in You’re grace, through You’re holy sacrament of Reconciliation. I am a new creation. You know my downfalls, yet You have already forgotten all the evil of which I have repented. Like the father who welcomes home his prodigal son. Christ Jesus, help me to see You, so that I might see You’re Father. Christ Jesus, send the Holy Spirit to me, send me the Advocate so that I might have guidance. Most Holy Ghost, protect me so that I might never fall into the traps of Satan again. Holy Virgin Mary, mother of my God, my mother… show unto me the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Help me to love Him just as you love Him. St. Augustine pray for me. Pray that I might be given the grace that was given to you, the grace that made the great sinner that you were into the great saint that you became. Holy God, one in three, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, help me. Amen.

| Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary I, Colin, a faithless sinner, renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my baptism; I renounce Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before. In the presence of all the Heavenly court I choose thee this day for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity.
Amen. | | |
